Site & asset inventory
Answer "what's on that site?" while you're still on the call
Every device at every site, with its model, location, owner and status.
Network inventory · security · lifecycle
NetCosm brings every site, device, connection and piece of software into one place, along with what's exposed and what's going end-of-life. So you find out before an auditor, an outage or a vendor notice tells you.
For altnets, regional operators, tower companies and data centres.
The problem
The inventory is in a spreadsheet. The connections are in a diagram from two years ago. Software versions are in each vendor's tool, security alerts are in another system, and the rest is in one engineer's head. It works until someone asks a question it can't answer.
Every system has its own list, and none of them agree. The most accurate record is often whoever has been there longest.
You learn about kit when it fails, or when an auditor asks what's on a site and whether it's patched.
A vendor announces end of support, and the next fortnight goes on working out where that kit is.
When it matters
Each one turns into days of chasing spreadsheets and people. None of them are rare.
How it works
Every site, device, connection and piece of software, with its security status and lifecycle dates, in one place your engineers, security team and auditors can all use.
Import your spreadsheets and exports from your existing tools. NetCosm flags duplicates, gaps and records that disagree, so you can clean up as you go.
Browse by site, rack, device or circuit. See what each device connects to and what's running on it.
Security exposures, kit approaching end-of-life and assets with no owner are all listed, so the next job is clear.
What you can do
Site & asset inventory
Every device at every site, with its model, location, owner and status.
Connections
See what each device connects to, so a change or removal doesn't take out something you didn't expect.
Software versions
Software versions across the estate, so you can see which devices are behind.
Security monitoring
Your security team sees the kit, location and owner behind an alert, not just an IP address.
End-of-life planning
Plan replacements, and give Finance a forecast they can budget against.
History & reports
Every change is recorded with who made it and when. Export reports without a week of preparation.
Who it's for
Compare
Most operators have an inventory tool, a security tool and a spreadsheet. The trouble is that they don't talk to each other.

Why we built it
NetCosm started with a network audit at a data centre. The team spent weeks piecing together what was installed from spreadsheets, old diagrams and people's memories. NetCosm is the tool they wanted that week.
We're working closely with a small group of operators in our first year. You get direct access to the people building the product, and your priorities shape what we build next.
Questions
No. You can bring your existing data into NetCosm and use it for what your current tools don't cover: security context, end-of-life planning and audit reports. Some teams retire their old tools later, and some don't.
It's the usual starting point. NetCosm shows duplicates, gaps and conflicting records as you bring data in, so you clean up as you go instead of before you start.
It depends on the size of your estate and the state of your current records. We give you a realistic estimate for your network in the demo.
The Act's code of practice expects providers to know and manage the assets on their network. NetCosm gives you the inventory and security visibility to show that. No tool makes you compliant on its own, but NetCosm makes the evidence quicker to produce.
We cover hosting, encryption and access control in writing before you share any network data. See our security page for what we cover.
Network operators with an estate spread across many sites: altnets, regional operators, tower and neutral-host companies, data centres, and infrastructure teams in large organisations. It suits teams of about 50 to 2,000 people.
The price depends on the size of your estate. We'll give you a figure during or straight after the demo, not weeks later.
Thirty minutes. We start with how your estate is recorded today, show NetCosm on a similar network, and finish with what getting started would involve. No long slide deck.
Book a 30-minute demo. We'll show you NetCosm with an estate like yours and talk through what it would take to get your inventory in.
